One of the things I do when putting the sheaths back on is to trim the cores like El Bigoton mentions than I put the sheath in hot water to heat them up. Makes them some what flexible. Push them on real hard and while holding them in place put a small screw in place through the sheath into the core. Do this in the back at the base of the horn. When the sheaths have cooled back down, remove the screw, remove the sheathes and add your adhesive of choice and reinstall the sheaths. They'll fit like gloves!!

I worked and worked those freakin horns. cutting and trimming off bone and they just wouldn't go anywhere! I don't know what the heck the problem is with em but i decided i'd be happy the way it is haha! We're about to move so I needed to finish this project as soon as possible. Thanks again Texastaxi!

You have to heat the ends with boiling water to soften and they will slide all the way down to the base. Shouldn't need to apply any adhesive.
