They are pretty. I would feed it well. Keep it's home clean and warm. I'd even take it out to play with regularly.

We've got a really nice one that hangs out around the house. See it several times a year while doing yard work. He gets a pass every time because I have a Copperhead problem. Haven't found it yet this year but have found a few copperheads.

They are definitely a cool looking snake. I had one come after me (or I just happened to be in his way) at the lease a few years ago.

I had one for a while (saved it from the cat)......it was the meanest **** snake I have ever had.

They can't do you the fine service of killing poisonous snakes if you cage them.
