Took a chance and went with the wife at 7pm after your post. Employee had just pulled 2 pallets of water out of the back..scored! Water disappeared faster than (fill in the blank). Unless their hoarding more pallets its 100% gone.

I went to specs and they had plenty.. was a touch more expensive, but was worth not having to go back to Kroger! Plus I got whiskey and cigars!

While I agree a bulled up tide and low pressure will make the fishing phenomenal, wouldn't this storm bring a northeast wind in our area? I myself have a shoreline I'm contemplating fishing Saturday dependent on lightning, I don't play with that stuff.

Depends on where and when it makes lanfall. Farther south and we will get a southeat breeze for a lil while.

I'm also worried about the twisters, setting on top of us for 2+ days a lot of wet is going to happen. I've got a generator to run the well pump, icebox, freezer, and a few lights. No AC or hot water.

I didn't see it but anyone in the area needs to be taking this storm very seriously. As of this morning I thought they were low- balling it.

Serious rainfall. Be careful!!!

We will see what happens. Picked up a generator and a/c window unit just in case. I live on pretty high ground, should be good to atleast 30 inches of rainfall.
