Default Yearly Neighboorhood Bucks Thread (Port Mansfield edition)

Recently moved to Houston so I canít do my yearly neighborhood bucks thread in San Antonio but I happen to be working in the Valley/Corpus this week so I decided to make a quick trip to see some of the locals.

Some of you may recall they did a big kill in town this year of about 125 deer because of the tick issue and are trying to treat the rest now.

As usual the 2 big boys I really wanted photos of were way of and didnít start getting into town until it was to dark for photos.

Down by Kemah in the Seabrook area, sitting at the light on 146. I saw a stud of a buck running through the bank parking lot.. I wish I could have got a picture. Amazing how big a deer can get in the city

They need some Bow hunters to exercise them.
Maybe go for a ride in the bed of the truck.

FYI When that area was owned by Jim West he had deer roped and hog tied from his s tx ranch, then flown to his main ranch hqo{where nasa now sits) in a C-47 and released, early 50's. Did the same with javi's too.

Looks like a mule deer! What a beast. So much fat on him his tail starts in the middle of his butt, not the top lol
