I'll be heading that way mid October for a wedding? The wife and I are staying in the Embassy Suites. We will arrive Friday early afternoon and leave Sunday. Wedding is Saturday PM. What are some good food joints, in all price ranges, for a Friday night out and Saturday hanging around town. Thanks for all the input.

Mia Dia and Fresca's are good Mexican food in the Highland Village area. Verf's is a laid back steak house in Highland Village as well. The Brazillion Steakhouse in Flower Mound on lakeside is good as well. Not sure on Highland Park as that's closer to downtown dallas. Highland Village is a suburb right next to Lewisville, which is where I'm referring to.. 2 completely different areas actually

Howard wang's - Chinese
Kuby's - awesome breakfast
Mi Cocina in the village is real good Mexican food (sunset fajitas)
The velvet taco (lol) - curry queso!
Penne pamadoro - Italian
Rex's seafood

Gen Korean BBQ in Carrollton is awesome not far from lewisville, all kinds of awesome meats you can cook on the table and it's all you can eat.

Grapevine will be a neat place for the wife to walk around.

I live in Flower Mound which is joins both Lewisville and Highland Village. Depends on what you are looking for. Like stated before, there are a bunch of good restaurants in FM and the Shops at Highland Village will have some nice shops to walk through and a couple of good restaurants. A great burger and beer joint in Lewisville is Rusty Beagle on 407. Fat Cow BBQ is very good and it is on Valley Ridge and 35.

There are a bunch of folks who live up here and can give you great suggestions

Bobs Steakhouse for sure.
You're gonna be 25 min or less, from anything you want.
Anything paticular you're interested in?

Me not really but steak is always on the menu. Something relaxing and not the usual hustle and bustle. I'm not worried about driving. That's the easy part.

Check out Papas Bros then. Its straight south down 35, about 15 min. It's off Lombardy, and 35/Loop 12. Best steakhouse in DFW.

Y'all like Whiskey? Witherspoon's Distillery in Lewisville is an awesome place to check out. They do tours and usually have live music and food trucks on the weekends. Really good reviews online! But it's my cousin that owns it so I might be a little biased!

Lots of good restaurants around here too. Mi Dia from Scratch is my new favorite, Frescos is good too!

We have one in Houston. Bob's looked pretty tasty except, the no price list on the online menu. Just give me the **** prices. I hate that.

I'm a whiskey fan, the wife, not so much. Fresco's has come up before. I'll def. keep that one in mind.

We will also probably hit a brunch on the way out.

I'd run over to the Shops of Legacy. Bob's Chop House is the place to go or Capitol Grill. If you're into eating healthy you could go to Season's 52. If you're into sushi I'd go to Edoko at 121 and Legacy.

If this is where I think, the Hard 8 BBQ brisket spoiled me from eating pork over here. I remember it is off Bethel Rd, just around the corner and down the street from Embassy Suites in Coppell. On the way there an indoor shooting range is on your left.
I went to an Uncle Julio's not too far away.
All kinds of places to go in the other direction towards Grapevine.
