    My truck finally made it!

Got the electrical issues squared away. Now it's time for inspection. Truck has hit 25yrs old and only has to pass safety. Whoohoo! Now I don't have to drive all over half the county to find someone that has a working dyno.

      Thank goodness.

I was worried about you driving in the left lane,, GOF style, shaking your fist at all the youngsters trying to pass. [emoji51][emoji23][emoji41]

A dyno isn't going to do you any good if you only go 55!

I hooked the hot wire to the light instead of the ground.

They still use dynos for emissions testing?

All I’ve ever seen them do for the last few years is plug into the OBD port and run for like 5 minutes.

I almost bought a new truck for my welding rig in 2010. Instead of that, I just put a new engine in my old one and had a few other things done and saved a lot of money. Over 25 yrs. old and easy inspections.

They didn't start the OBDII until 1996 I believe. My truck is a '93.

I figured that may be it. I haven’t seen a dyno testing place in a while.

It's a pain in the backside trying to find one.

Yes it is! I have a 92yj and used to hate August because I knew I was going to have to locate 20 different inspection places to find one that had a working dyno. Not to mention handing over $7 for a safety inspection sure is a lot easier.

So....how long is the wait list for that truck? IF you ever did decide to sell, I want on that list.
