    Rubber Band Airplane Help

My son has to build a rubber band powered airplane out of balsa wood, plastic, paper clips, etc. for a science class. Anyone had to do this and have any plans that worked well. Googled it yesterday and didn't really find any specific plans that seemed solid enough to hold up to flight. Has to fly 28 feet powered by rubber band.

Take your thin balsa body piece and hollow out the inside of it. Prop should have a hook on it to put the rubber band on. Attach another hook inside the body cavity at the rear of the body. Twist the propeller, winding up the rubber band.
