Chances that a gut shot deer survives?

Last week I made a very poor shot on a doe. I hit her pretty far back near the end of her rib cage or maybe a bit further. She ran off like nothing was wrong. She didn’t hunch up or anything like that. I found my arrow and it was covered in blood/bile/crap but she didn’t bleed at all. I found 2 tiny specks of blood within 10 feet of where she was standing and I followed the trail she was on for 100 yards. Fast forward to yesterday I got pics from my trail cam that appeared to be the same doe with a dark spot in the same area my arrow hit. Maybe it’s brief blood? Maybe it’s coincidence that this doe looked similar. What are the chances?

very slim for recovery, infection will kill her.

Really?? I'll just have to disagree. All gut shot deer I've seen have not survived.

Unless you hit her a lot higher then you are thinking. She probably is already dead !

Gut shot will all die. Even if they some how survive the blood loss, infection will get them.
