Don't bet on me, but when i hunted there I believe it was closer to Thanksgiving.

Yes. A few weeks ago during the heat and full moon. Their are some doe's coming around the second time if they didn't bred and last years yearlings will be coming in next month so you are still good. Just keep hunting

Seems to be sporadic there. But usually Around thanksgiving is when they are at their peak.

Saw a buck chasing yesterday and also heard horns crashing in Elgin.

I saw a bunch of dead deer on IH10 today. Does and bucks. Id say the rut is right now.

To all of yall who don't know the rut is similar every year and can be looked up based on TPWD studies

The gestation period for white tails is 201 days and we start seeing baby fawns the first and second week in May.
