Start with fayette and bastrop if you havnt been yet.

            Belton for smallies

Wheeler branch for walleye and bass

Amistad(devils river side for a yak) for amazing scenery and very different fishing

Rayburn for the hotest lake in the state right now

Oh ivie for shot at a 10+

Pick one of the good striper lakes... maybe texoma bellow dam? But i can put you on some at whitney in yak range from ramp

Falcon is getting better i hear...

Colorado river around bastrop. Scenery, no people, pretty good fishin and no people. Looking at doing a trip with the fam before it gets 100 degrees

I'll second this. The Guad, Comal, and San Marcos are where I started kayak fishing and they are great all summer.

I am not far from you. Hit me up and we will go fishing. I have kayaks too. We are actually fishing the Colorado river for 3 days and two nights on the 20th. We put in East of Austin and take out just past Webberville.

Also Lake Dunlap in New Braunfels used to be a great place to fish. I haven't been there in 2 years though.
