    Kerry signs UN arms treaty....

when are these ignorant politicians gonna realize criminals and thugs don't care about gun laws

the only way to deter crime is ... "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth"

you commit murder and are found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt , you're executed in 1 week .... NO appeals process.

That's the question I've been asking too Blake.. If a criminal is going to commit a criminal act by murdering someone the last thing on their messed up mind is geez I have this gun illegally or how one would go get a few guns...

Blake gun control is not about guns, fundamentally it's about control.

Throughout history, free men have owned weapons and slaves have not.

Over 100 million humans have been killed in non-declared acts of war by their governemnts in the past century and all have been preceeded by disarming the people.

        My analysis and opinion:

Liberals (or progressives or leftists or socialists or Marxists or Communists, pick your term) fundamentally do not believe that a person, an individual is responsible and accountable for their decisions and actions and must do 2 things as a result. First, they must find a reason to blame for whatever the person did wrong. Blaming an inanitimate object like a firearm as wrong is easier for them to believe than blaming the individual who used it as wrong, or blaming others who should have seen it coming and did nothing as wrong. Second, they believe the answer since indivuals are not responsible is to have the government responsible.

It goes back to the biblical story of Adam and Eve. God asked Adam why he is wearing fig leaves and he does not take responsibility and says "Eve told me", God asks Eve why she ate of the tree of knowledge, and she says, "The serpent told me". Both wanted to be like God, and did not take accountability for their decisions.

.....and we know who was behind all of it.

The treaty is only 4" thick. No telling what's in it. I bet Kerry never even read it.

Impeach. Get his stupid butt and his boss's out of the White House. The Constitution is clear, the Senate approves any treaty.

This, gentleman, is open war on the Constitution of the United States by a tyrannical dictator.

I like the way you think, however, I think it needs to be for manslaughter or whatever it takes to include ANY death wheather by DUI/DWI, neglegence, murder, ect. And there shouldn't be an age restriction, if their bad A enough to pack a weapon and use it they can be tried the same for it.

Ironic. Canadian PM refuses to sign because of the same issues brought up by gun advocates in the U.S.

The Senate and House will not ratify it, but the big problem ahead is that this treaty does not have a expiration date. If the Dems gain enough control in both houses it can be ratified at a later date...

Its a very dangerous fine line..

This is where I disagree. Maybe a 2 year appeals process but you have to have an appeals process. There have been countless cases where an innocent person has been railroaded and found guilty by a jury of their peers, only to be found innocent in the appeals process, and NOT by a BS decision but cleared on DNA or perjury from a star witness. If that was your child or brother on trial and found guilty of something they didn't do, you wouldn't want them executed in one week and no chance of appeal. It sounds good in theory (your idea and view) but practically, it doesn't work. What would work is shortening the appeals process and the red tape, speeding up the process. When the state is going about the serious business of killing another person, within reason, no stone needs to be unturned.
