    What round

I just got a Thompson center pro hunter 30-06. I was shooting Remington core lock 165 grain and did alright but I wanted to move to a ballistic tip. Spent today runnin Hornady GMX 165 grain through it and was all over the place so I've counted those out. Any of you guys have one of these rifles and got advice on a good round I'd appreciate your input. Want to sight in at 200 yards

I always had better luck with a 180gn bullet. Bullet rate would depend on the rifling rate of twist.

Rate of twist is 1 in 12 I believe. Looking for something that will hold a good group and will still
Reach out to 400 yards when I want

Try Winchester ballistic silver tips my 30-06 loves them but it is a Sako.

I've been researching some and I can't find it. I thought it had a twist rate at 1:12 but found some stuff that says 1:10 so now I don't know fore sure. 28" pro hunter fluted barrel 30-06, does any one know for sure the twist rate

If your wanting a BT try the accubond, hold together better then the BT. And a 1:10 twist will the a more common rate in the 06.
