Staph infections are a pain!

I have what I hope will be my final appointment tomorrow with the ENT specialist. All the pain is gone, as is the inflammation and redness. However, there is a knot still in my right nostril. Hopefully it's just scar tissue. I'll know more tomorrow. Still on antibiotics and have 2 days left. If all goes well, I hope I can finally hit the lease this weekend for the first time.

Probiotics, digestive enzymes, I've been juicing quite a bit, oh, and LOTS of water too. Taking every precaution possible. I'll let you know how it goes.

I've been given the "all clear" from the ENT. She says the lump in my nose is simply scar tissue and should dissipate over time. That means I CAN HUNT THIS WEEKEND!!!!!

I had staph in my nose two years ago. I went through the anitbiotics and recovered without problems. My suggestion to anyone is to use DIAL soap, or at least antibacterial soap. Also get a dr to give you a script for bactorban(sp). We keep a tube of it and apply to any open wound any of us has. I even put a bit in my nose with a q-tip if I have a pimple anywhere on my face!

Ron will agree, you dont want Staph, especially in your nose!!!!
