    Thinking about FMJs

What are the benefits of shooting with them? Also, what would be a safe broad head weight for Cape buffalo? Shooting a PSE Omen

        cape buffalo broadhead

Not sure about cape buffalo, broadhead and safe fitting together that well, but I think you'd want something heavier than FMJs. Think they use some bodacious heavy arrows for that kind of huntin'. Good luck. D

I would think something around 250grain point on some fmj dangerous game with an additional aluminum footing would be a good setup. The omen definatly pushes an arrow hard enough

But having it tuned well is more important than weight

Benefits are straightness and not having to flex test them. I know Easton makes the FMJ Dangerous Game arrows. As far as broadheads, I hear a trocar tip and 2 blade, single piece is the way to go.

Go with the FMJ dangerous game series and use the brass inserts. Then something like a Razor Dobbs 170 grain black death broad head. Should get you around 800-850 grains total weight.
