Pretty good rain event for over those two days. Our total ended up being 1.8" for the two events. Was hoping it would be over 2" based on pics but I'll take it. The fact that it happened in two separate rains on two separate days at night and in the early am makes it even better for soaking in. Should be a good kick off to the summer. That puts us at 6" on the nose per our ranch gauges for the year.

Cottonseed filling next weekend with some coon killing for the turkey eggs. Ready to get both pens filled with 1300-1500lbs each, the water topped off and some sendero trimming done so I can forgot about them for another two months. Then its trail camera season... The trickle of corn is gonna have to get em by for the next 5 days...

2 and 2/10" at the house yesterday evening, I saw this storm go right over Water Valley so we received some good rain. We were supposed to go fill protein feeders today at lunch but the rancher told us to hold off because it was too wet out there.

Three separate red masses headed to us and when it hit our gate retreated and died or went around. It was like watching water in a tub drain and we were the center hole. Frustrating!!!.

We did get some moisture but not enough to start the puddle in front of the camera . That usually means in the lower 10ths🤬🤬

After a weekend of filling feeders and putting protein out, this is the last thing you want to see....

Pig must of knocked down a panel and then came the sheep. Hopefully they didnít eat too much. Luckily our Ranch manager lives in the area and fixed the panel this morning.

Our lease starts Saturday. Heading down for a weekend full of sweat!

Btw, buccees has 600# American hunter feeders for $269 each. Weíll see how they hold up, but they look well built.

Well I guess my ďpuddle gaugeĒ at my Seismic Covert was off this round because it was a longer slower rain and no puddle formed. But my LO just told me we had an inch at our gate and an inch at the ranch house over the last two days. We were way off on the guess.

They are decent feeders. You will have to either reinforce or change the varmint guard. and if you don't prefer the control box and all maybe upgrade it. It gets the job done.

In my opinion they have come along way from then. I know your buddies pain. Anymore it doesn't matter who you are if you want to be in the feeder/hunting game you better bring it. Everyone one has there poison but if it isn't decent quality word spreads like wildfire and your done. #greenscreen lol.
