Sitting with my pair of 12 year olds. Daughter is up first for deer and my son has pig patrol. Front blew through last night and dumped some more rain. Overcast and dark on the walk in. First time all year I haven’t pushed deer out on the way back to this area. Updates as it lightens up...

Little fork here at first light. I sat in a bow blind yesterday morning and watched bucks run does from 8 to 11. Not sure the kids have the patience to sit that long. Hopefully someone on the hit list chases a hot doe by here.

Our target buck just made an appearance, but stayed back in the brush. Hopefully he keeps working the edge and steps back out to give her a shot.
