Resilient bobcat

Last Wednesday I had this Bobcat stalking the feeder. I gut shot him as he was walking away and quickly reloaded with a field tip arrow and aimed for the head at 28yds. Hit him just off his right eye and through his head. I thought he would be done. Well he staying alive still trying to crawl into the woods and growling ever now and then. I finally climbed down and finished him with my 9mm. I was surprised he didn’t go down so easy after the head shot, them cats are resilient!

They are pretty tough animals...congrats.

I shot one with a broadhead stern to stem a few years ago. There was a lot of blood, but no cat and no arrow. They're unbelievably tough.
