    Maybe the heating element?

Heating element, and the thermal fuse are what I would test.

First, is it gas or electric. Really need to know before you go looking for an element that is there.

How do I test the heating element to see if it is good or bad?

mine did the same thing about 6 months ago.. replaced the thermostat, heating element, this, that, whatever else.. i ended up throwing the mf'r in a field and running it over with a tractor..

hope your luck is better than mine.

              ohm meter

open it is bad, short it is good

or look at it and see if coil is broken

                  Ensure exhaust is free/clear.

If you let lent build up, then it may be the thermal fuse. Follow the wires from the element back to the thermal fuse. It doesn't look like a regular fuse. Use your ohm meter to check it the same as you check the element.

                      Check the vent.
Many dryer problems start with a clogged vent

Will check the exhaust and lent issue then look at element and fuse. Thanks fellas.

I guess you should check to be sure that you have 230 volts at the outlet first.

had the same thing happen a couple years ago. I'm embraced to admit the issue, after changing out multiple parts, was the breaker. Older house where the 230 circuits were two separate breakers not connected. So I was only getting 110 to the dryer. It would run but not heat.
