How bout some Jalopeno Hushpuppies

This is what my borther Mark made, and I along with the rest of Team Fish-Head, served. A very simple recipe found and perfected by Momma Berry.

Bow-Nanza 08 Hushpuppies

Makes about 20-30


Mix

1 cup Cornmeal

1 Cup Flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

¾ teaspoon salt



Add and Mix

1 egg

¾ Cup creamed corn

½ cup diced onions

¼ cup Jalapenos (optional)

Drop into 275° oil by the heaping teaspoon and fry till golden brown.

Try this, 1 can cream style corn and 1 package mexican cornbread mix. I chop fresh Japs in mine but I like it with kick. salt pepper and cajun seasoning. very easy and very good.
