Bob Hall Pier Sunrise

We have family in town for a birthday party this weekend, but my brother-in-law and I were able to sneak out out early this morning for some sunrise shots at the beach. The fog and lack of clouds were a slight disappointment but we still managed to get a few keepers. Maybe next time I'll remember to bring the ND filter for shooting under the pier!

Thanks for the kind words fellas, it means a lot coming from yall.

I keep looking at that second shot and wish that I would have noticed that I was just slightly off center from the pier when I framed it up, I think just a half a step to the left and maybe two forward would have made for perfectly even symmetry all the way down the frame. It's amazing how this stuff will just scream at you on the computer screen when you completely missed it while looking through the viewfinder!
