I always thought this may be happening but after tonight I know 100% that it’s true. If it’s not listening to your conversations it picks up on your text messages or your search history on other peoples phones connected to your plan.

Yesterday I found out that someone really close to me was diagnosed with cancer and I have not googled anything related to cancer since.

My wife and I went to dinner tonight and she asked me how I was handling the news and she said she researched the type of cancer.

As I’m surfing tapatalk on the forums I frequent I see these advertisements.







Has anyone else seen this?

As a digital marketing guy, it's very true. Smart Tv's will listen in too. Alex's and Siri's are starting to play a role as well.

We call it behavioral targeting.

Yesterday while talking with my coworker this happened to me. We were discussing that my wife renewed my Sirus radio contract for Father's Day. Next thing I know, my phone "wakes up", the Siri screen turns on and my phone starts playing the radio. My phone wasn't plugged in and was in sleep mode. I wasn't even touching the phone. Very strange for sure!
