In the last month, my wife's card got hacked, and now mine got it. This is the first time in my life I have ever had this problem, and it has happened twice in less than a month.
The only thing that has changed is my mobile device. I have had an Iphone ever since the first one came out. About 4 months ago, I switched to the Galaxy S8. The guys at work, all have Iphones, and they are trying to tell me that Android based phones are less secure than Iphones, and that is probably the reason I am having trouble. I do have my banking app on my phone, and I do online purchases, but mostly only use Paypal.
The only difference in my life is this new phone. Could this really be the culprit? I don't download any strange apps or click links that look fishy. I am very careful when choosing passwords and try to change them often.
Any insight on this would be great. I am getting very frustrated at this point. They hit me for $585.97 this last time.
Thanks in advance for any input.
