    Pagosa Springs Fly Fishing

    We will be up there the first week of August. Any tips or any advice would be greatly appreciated.

              We got back about 2 weeks ago from fishing there. Water levels were low but we managed to find some good creeks and caught our fair share. Best of luck and let us know how you do.

                          I was lucky enough to catch a 4lb Rainbow last week on the San Juan just out of Pagosa. Sorry for the double post of the pic. Don’t know how to remove one.
                          I caught this one on a small 3” Creme Lure worm on a 6 1/2’ flyrod.. River was merky from rains in the afternoons.

                            I'll be up there fly flishing next week. The word I'm getting is small dry's, adam's and such, and pheasant tail nymphs underneath. I'll have some more info when we are up there.

                              That is a dandy. Don't see many that big come out of that area. Congrats
