Got few more. Took a friend out yesterday evening and we got 7 good ones. He caught and released his biggest trout ever at 25" 5 1/4lb'er. It was pretty tough but we managed a good box of em.

When you told me about the trip and trout, you mentioned everything except when the fish fry is.

Exactly!!!!!! Btw, it's good to be back in Texas. I survived. Kids had fun (that's all that matters). Dad didn't (me). Should have another week off (that's almost a month total; this is the part where I love my job).

It actually turns over, it's gonna need brakes all round as all the wheel cylinders and the master cylinder leak to no end. I'm also going to do wheel bearings all round too, the front left is so gone that the wheel flops in and out. Shouldn't take too much to get it running. I'm figuring one corner done every week I'm home, possibly 2 corners every week.

Good luck with that. I've done a few of those for lease ride for guys. Every one of them took hours to get the rear axles out and impossuble to get bearings off. There's aftermarket conversion kits for the rear bearings. May want to look into those but requires new axles and maybe a different drum. I love those old heeps but hate those rear ends

This was on the jokes thread. Made me think of you ol' rednecks.

What's the difference between a good ol' boy and a redneck?
The good ol' boy raises livestock.
The redneck gets emotionally involved.

I used to love watching those young hot shot know it alls at the shop everytime something like came in, or especially a vw big when tjey couldn't find reverse. The best was a kid who supposedly grew up around drag cars yet couldn't figure out how to work a throw shift and about to blow up a motor cruising thw street in 1st because "the transmission must be bad, it wont shift"

I saw a pic of dmack on facebook without a hat on(or a shirt). Then i realized I've never seen Daniel's hat off. I was reminded of a shady hot tub salesman, and immediately had the urge to check my back pocket to make sure my wallet was still there. I might need some eye bleach, but I'm still blinded by the glare off his balding head and neon white chest.

My first truck in HS was a '63 Chevy that had a "3 on the tree" shifter. Loved that old truck!

I've had a couple 3 on the tree. Had a bronco just like that one. Wish I'd never gotten rid of it. Had a 54 Ford that had a floor shifter installed and a 66 Chevy with one.

Andy, I saw that pic also. I had to do a double take, and zoom in past the glare. It's him.

I can't say anything, cuz I've got the same haircut. But I've got a tan, so I'm good there.

Hello all. Haven't been around, and it doesn't seem like I've been missed, so carry on!
