    Cooking mats for the grill

I picked up this cooking mat at Wally World after I saw how well it worked at my buddies house. This thing rocks. I cooked stuffed jalapeƱos the other night with no flare ups. Tonight I'm cooking veggies, shrimp and scallops. It keeps the grill clean as well and leaves grill marks on the food too. Just though I would share since its grilling season

Have seen it in commercials. Figured there's no way it works like they say. I wonder how long it will last.

This is crazy. I'm in wal mart right now. And I have one of these in the buggy, thinking.....probably a waste of money....oh well.....and get on the GS while waiting on the wifea and BAM....random grill mat thread! Glad it works.

Everything comes off really easy and you can put it in the dishwasher. Actually I pulled mine out while in the drying cycle to use tonight. Best thing since sliced bread!

Awesome, I have been wondering if those worked! Would work great for grilling okra, squash and other veggies!

I bought one in Rockport at the wine festival a couple of years ago and it is still working. It is starting to fray a little on the ends, but still works. It definately cut down on the burn food factor on the gas grill.

                  What was left after cooking

                  After easy scraping with spatula

                  Washed with a kitchen brush

                  Grill afterwards

                  Best $10 I've spent

Will it work with charcoal grill?

The info that came with the mats said you can cook upto 500 degrees. It said if you use charcoal, make sure the flames are down to the coals glowing red.(no large flames
