Saved a life this weekend!

So long story short. We were down in Port A hanging out on the beach and a buddy and I were on the 2nd sand bar fishing and I heard something but couldn't pin point it so I just keep listening. Finally I look over and about 50 yards to my left and about 50 yards in front of me All I can see is black hair in the water then I see 2 little arms. I yelled at my buddy and threw my rod to him in a panic and he was like what the heck are you doing. I took of running across the sand bar and swam out to her and she was sinking and getting pulled under from the under tow. I grabbed her and swam her back to the sand bar. I picked her up and she was kind of throwing up/spitting up water and saliva. I walked her back in my arms and when I almost got back to the shore here came her mother freaking out, wondering what was going on. I told her and all she could do is thank me, I told her she may want to keep an eye on her daughter from now on because if I had not been fishing shed be gone. She was 4 years old. It was a pretty intense experience so say the least. The weird thing is I didn't even want to fish but my buddy begged me to go out there with him so I did. I'm very glad he made me go with him.
