He changed his screen name and hasn't been around in a while. Some of these other boys should be able to recommend something good though.

        Yoga Pants is now Sterigiforms.

What kind of tarp are you looking for; a full winter tarp, small and light or something more versatile?

I use a JRB 10 x 11 now, but I have built and used many different tarps over the years. I like the versatility (in pitch options) of the JRB 10 x 11 the best.

I would like a small light weight one. Right now just something over the top would be fine. It would be nice if it had ends or I could add them later.

I saw several nice ones at the last couple of hunts and I just didn't make a note of the brands.

In that case I would go with a JRB Hex tarp (11 x 8) @ 12.8 oz and a set of Grizz Beaks from 2QZQ Customs. The tarp is good for three seasons and the Grzz beaks allow you to close in the ends like a winter tarp. the best part is that when not needed you can leave the Grizz Beaks at home and save the weight.

            JRB Hex Tarp

I recommend something from Etowah. Ultra light and really well made. I called years ago and got the owner. Awesome guy, been making tarps since the 90's.

I'm coming back down from Michigan for this. I know I'll be bringing some hunting buddies from here. I will add our names once I get the exact numbers for sure.
