    Help with new bow

    Greetings all

I was blessed to find this bow at an estate sale for a heck of a deal. What I initially thought to be maker tag seems to be just a sticker. I don't know much about this style so I'm curious if someone can point me in a better direction than Siri did. The limbs don't have an identifying marks and I'm lost over all. Help me, LOL

Looks to be a vintage Ben Pearson I'd say late 70s to early 80s

That there is a collectors item.

That there is a fish slaying machine. A modern recurve can match it for speed, so don't expect much. Makes a decent collectors item though

Looks like my old Browning deluxe Nomad. Bought it in about 1980.

thanks for all the info folks.......I couldn't confirm due to the lack of identifying features. The only thing with ben pearson was the string

Nice. I bet she's still got a few kills left in her!

I have a Warthog that looks VERY similar. IF you happen to remember the Dukes of Hazard (not the dumb remake but the original) then you will see the same type bow I have. It's a work out to shoot much but mine does not have an adjustable draw. The warthog is 70# at 31" and I draw 27. Lots of deep shoulder involved.
Like said above not going to be a speed bow, but some heavy aluminum arrows and a well placed shot is all you need.
