    Live hunt...... Mozambique Elephant

Well I have made it to Johannesburg where I will over night. I fly on to Kruger tomorrow. Then a 8 hour drive to where we will hunt.
If I have phone service, I will try to up date this everyday with the good, bad and ugly of trying to kill a Elephant with my recurve.
I know going in is a little of a crap shoot. My setup should work great unless I hit a rib. If I hit a rib I have no hope of busting through it. My setup is a 83@ 28 Black widow bow, I'm pulling it 29 so I should be getting around 85 out of it.
The arrow weighs 1100 grain with the 375 grain Tuff head broad on it.
It is a carbon heritage 350 shaft with a beman shaft inside of it and 4" of aluminum shaft for a footing. It is super tough and flys wobble free. Now all I have to do is get close and hope I hit it between the rib bones.
I'm as excited as a 12 year old girl walking into the mall with daddy's credit card.
    I really want a elephant.

        Good luck!
How do you plan to aim to miss ribs? Is it just a aim and pray deal or is there a certain spot you'll be aiming for?
