I was here in the sauna box in Menard county. Four bucks came out to eat with one being melanistic.
I have one seven left, so much for a peaceful exit.

I'm in the box with my son. Mommas in a tripod for the first time enjoying the cool breeze.

Medina Co. In tree stand. Very little breeze. 3 young bucks, 5 doe, a yearling ate it up tonight. Getting cooler. Just head buzzed by some ginormous flying something. Mosquitos earlier divebombing my left eye. Didnt lite thermacell tonight. But love October bowhunting! Hog light on now....

Back at it this morning. Changed stands. The stand I'm at has a couple of old cull bucks that we are after. It has been visited by a 150 class nine point also.

Pigs, turkey and porcupines like this spot also. We will see.

Not much will be safe this morning.

It is a muggy 70 degrees with no wind right now!

Dang, good luck on the 9 pt!

Not sweating as bad this morning but feels kinda balmy.

Saw a young 6 pt last night 20 min before dark, hoping something larger comes by.

Fog just rolled in on me. It's not real thick so I think it will burn off fast.
