    Arrow Calculation for tomcfc11

    Hey Tom.

    Here's what the StuOmeter says.

You will notice I selected 12 strand for the string even though your 450+ is an 8 strander. The reason for that is - an 8 strand 450+ will be closer to the same size & weight of 12 strands of other material. Trust me, that's what needs to be selected with that string.

You will also notice the arrow is selected as 30.625" instead of your preferred 30". That was to only way to get it close in spine with the other specs you were wanting.

Remember now - The calculator is a great tool, and great for getting you into the shaft deflection you need, but you don't want to trust as being dead nutz on everything. You need to start out with your shafts at least 31" long, and then trim to tune from there. I would even recommend you start out at 32" & then trim to tune from there just to be on the safe side.

They will work for you, but you are going to have to find the sweet spot in the length.

    Hope this helps.

    Rick
