I need a gunsmith in Ft. Worth area. Any recommendations?

I have a Remington 870 Super Magnum shotgun that will not recycle shells properly. Change that, will not recycle shells at all. Any recommendations of a good gunsmith in Ft. Worth before i throw the thing in the recycle bin?

Haven't used them in a few years but they used to have a good staff.

Have you tried different ammo? Mine won't work with the cheap Winchester.. someone told me the brass is thinner and expands more than others and will wedge its self in there making it hard to eject. I changed ammo to something like Remington heavy dove or sts, Winchester AA etc. and it solved the problem..

I had the same issue, an extractor bar I think, pops out of the receiver

I've tried all kinds of ammo. I do think it has to do with ammo though. It seems to eject unfired shells fine. But once fired, no go. But it doesn't seem to matter what type of ammo i use. I can't put up with a shotgun that is so persnickety that it will only fire one type of shell. I won't tolerate that foolishness from a shotgun.

There’s a place in Keller at the corner of 1709 and Navajo. I took a rifle in to have a trigger job the guy said he could adjust it. Took him about 30 minutes while I waited.

Seamed like a nice enough guy.

Yep. If David is still the gunsmith there, you're in business. He's good to go. Done me right a few times.
