Only 7 days until we all get to play. Time to vanish in trees and listen to the breeze. If many of you are like myself you'll be scrambling all week to gather and get gear ready, last minute as usual. I normally dont hunt early season but I'll be making a run at a local 9 point on opening weekend. Probably should shoot the bow a few times this week and hang a stand. I can't wait. I think im more excited about my wife bow hunting for the first time. We were getting her license last night and I heard her tell the lady at academy I need a archery stamp also. Then proceeded to tell her how she has always rifle hunted but this is her first season to bow hunt. She is beyond excited. Hopefully she can connect and that will make my weekend.
