    Half sleeve for my daughter

Started this last night. Two hours just for half of the initial outline. Still have a long way to go. There is a lot of symbolism in all the individual details of this piece, but the general theme is no matter what may loom ahead or behind, a father will never abandon his daughter.

Next session is Monday to outline the inside half of my arm, then several more sessions after that for shading, highlights, and a little color.

Looks good, I'll be honest the title made me think you were tattooing your daughter.

Round 2 last night. Added the dragon. Inside bicep is no problem. Near the armpit though, Lordy!

Next is shading and filling it in

The filling in I think is the worst part.

Who did the drawing you are the tattoo guy?
            Really looks good.

Thanks, I am very happy with how it is coming together. The tattoo guy did the design. I can’t draw worth a flip.

Opposite for me. Shading is almost fun, outline with a single needle feels like an exact knife. I love this type of idea. Been thinking what to do for my daughter.

Looking nice. Your guy somewhere around Humble area? I'm about to do a second session with Lance Norris in Atascocita.

No he’s down in Houston. Daniel Zorrilla. Whatcha getting done for your second session? Did getting this one make you want to get more? I always want to just keep getting tattooed after I get a piece done. Gotta save the real estate though. I intend to get one for each grandkid if I ever have any.

Mine is only half finished. Still some main component and a lot of coloring and detail. He mainly got the background set last time and wanted it to heal for a few weeks. I may get more or just make this one a half sleeve. Restricted to above the sleeve line for now

That’s a lot of single needle work, I feel for you! Nice job by your artist so far

I’m the exact opposite, I can zone out once there is a rhythm going on the shading but single needle work sucks!

                              Looking great so far!!

I'm still trying to figure out what to put around a tat on my right bicep. It's the Krav Maga symbol.
