I had to dig up my old 1998 pics from our island hunt. First time I had ever seen a truck load of bucks. Do they still run the school bus out to the stands ?

Wow, that's a haul. They now use 4 half ton trucks to shuttle you around. They also don't allow use of the barracks unless it's inclement weather. I don't believe that the island hunting has been anything like that in some time.

We struck out this morning with only one truck still out when I left the hq to start packing. We had a strong north wind for our last hunt, little to no movement.

All in all, it was a fun and a very unique experience.

Thanks for following along and the well wishes.

Congrats. Been there a couple times on youth standby hunts with my son. One of my favorite places to hunt plus you can fish in your non hunting time
