Definitely not the way I drew it up! But I'll take it.

Yeah, I should have left him whole and just thrown the whole thing on the pit.

They have worked REALLY well for me for many years. I don't see me changing anytime soon.

1st congrats. However am a bit confused with the terminology used. Title of video is "Texas Heart Shot". Growing up that shot placement was always referred to as an "Arkansas Heart Shot". That and if someone shot the animal in the neck, it was said the the shooter "put a Texas" on the animal. Guess it is a geographical thing.
In light of an honest and full disclosure...I'm from Mississippi

I hit one earlier this year right at about his waist area, just in front of the back legs. About the same 40 yard trail. Amazing how those arteries can help back there, but you hit one lung high and it's lost!

                  Congrats

Congrats. Shot reminded me of the 1st pig I stuck. Never found him. But he was a bit larger.

That was just a bit back.....surprised after reviewing the video you didnt back out and come back in the morning to look for it.

Congrats. That will make some good eating.

You're from Huffman.....we already assumed the Croc part. Dead is dead....good job.

First deer I ever killed with a bow, in 1991, was spined. I made a bad shot and it died where it stood. It was a bad shot, but a dead deer. I'll take it.

Great video of the shot, and the rat Boss!

I hope my Flip-flop Crocs will work, cause I've got 3 pairs. Two pair are camo; one for day and one for night. The other pair is for dress-up Flip-flops.
