    Muley down!

Arrowed a fat muley last night. I sat down. Put my release on and looked to my left and there he was. Less than ten minutes in blind. Hit him a little back. So I waited an hour before getting out and looking for blood. Blood was great. Went a bout twenty yards and he was laying down. Decided to put another arrow in him to finish him off. Hit him great and he popped up and ran down into a canyon. It took me and my brother 2 hours to pull him out of that hole after gutting him. Here are some pics of the canyon wall he ran down and of the deer. Enjoy.

Nice. Our place looks similar. We've got some areas that I don't even think you could recover a deer. Good job.

Same thought when I was on my hands and knees crawling out of that canyon with deer in a sled tied around my waist. If I had a heart problem it would have shown up last night.
