We just got notified that one of our managers and one of the shop guy's passed away over the weekend. The manager was at his lake house and fell off of a ladder. The machinist lost his fight with cancer. Tough day today.

Seems like this year has been a bad year so far with machine shop employee/employer deaths. Well at least in the gear manufacturing side of it.

Donny lived two doors down from me. His youngest son came by last night to give me the news. Donny was going to retire at the end of the year. This sucks.
