    My first trad deer

McMullen county. I shot this cull on Saturday morning at 5 yards with my Sarrels BR longbow. He ran about 25 yards and expired. This is my first ever deer with traditional equiptment. He is not big, and only 3 years old but he needed to go as he is a feeder hog and very sub-par compared to other 3 year olds on the ranch. Thanks for looking!

The first with Trad is an awesome feeling. I practiced 2 years before I tried hunting with Trad gear and then missed my first 4 shots. After more practice and on the 5th attempt I connected perfectly and had the same feeling you do now!Congrats on a great deer!
