I play mainly blackjack and craps, best odds in Vegas but they still favor the house. If I stay disciplined and play my game on the craps table I usually do ok but that little demon in me sometimes takes over and I start making stupid bets. The demon is fueled by bourbon and watching other idiots win on horrible bets. Regardless I will have a blast and win or loose, I love Vegas!

It is crazy how some people seem to be a whole lot luckier than others. Pure random luck from a computer chip that by law must pay back 75% of bets but because of stiff competition the casinos have had to increase their payouts to draw players. Slots pay out about .943 cents per every 1.00 invested on average. The higher the bet the better the odds get. 65% of a casino’s revenue comes from slots. If you go downtown or North Vegas your payout increases to about .954 per 1.00. Bottom line the longer you play the better chances of going broke you have. I leave the strip when my wife wants to come lay slots and we head north.
