Have eaten zebra several times and have no idea what you guys are talking about, it's excellent meat. I think the only thing about it that 'tastes bad' is the taboo about eating horse. Much less gamey than venison.

Shane, i have ate Zebra on several occasions, and not once did i make faces at it. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!..... everytime.

I believe as it was stated earlier, it migh be in the preperation.

I ate it on a few occasions in RSA and loved it, had it grilled, smothered/covered in onions and gravy...I have NO problem with it.
