The last sesaon they offered any draw hunts were the 2010-2011 hunting season. Hunter success was extremely low where very few target species were seen as compared to the participating hunters. Doubt they will offer anytimie soon unless the staff see an increase in specie numbers and over-browsing of habitat.
Amazing, you can sit at the gate and glass numerous exotics. I know TPWL has a different view than we do. An exotic bow hunt would be a dream on that place!
TPWD Park Staff takes safety into high consideration on all their hunts and will only place assigned blinds where shooting from those locations are safe for all within the park and others outside the park - seeing exotics from the gate does not necessarily mean they will be seen at the locations of blinds.
