Are kids under 17 required to get a Saltwater license? I know they don’t need a “regular” fishing license but not sure about Saltwater.

always but them a red drum tag for a out 5.00.

17 and younger no fishing license needed....maybe the drum tag if they get real lucky!
Good app to have on the phone if you have a smart phone is the Texas Hunting and Fishing App...tells you everything including limits etc and much easier to navigate than the little booklet...Comment
