Default What gun did you buy today?

Post up what guns you pick up daily. I buy a couple guns a month.. It's a fun “hobby". To start with I picked up an older Mossberg 30-30 for $250 at show today.

No guns purchased today. I think I exceeded jan/feb/mar gun allowance in Jan. I did stop in a gun store though.

A couple of guns a month, man I need your job! I unfortunately have spent my gun allowance till at least October with the purchase of an AR, Sako rifle and one big arse liberty safe since December.

Right , cant afford a couple a year. Only takes one to kill, don't need a bunch. A gun is simply a tool used in hunting. I get more into the animals/nature itself.

I've got the PT740. Had to buy extended mags for a better grip. It shoots much better than I thought it would.

Only bought some ammo today-308, 44mag and 22lr. Picked these up a couple weeks ago, and finally have the 308 and 44 ammo to make them sing. Also picked up a 12ga Maverick 88 that just became a project house sweeper....

Ruger Deerfield 99/44
Puma 44mag 16" Carbine
Remington 742 Woodmaster 308 w/ Redfield 3-9 widefield scope

My oldest son already claimed the Ruger as his hog rifle, and depending on how the safe shakes out, the others will just have to see....

The offer is appreciated, but the Puma's finish is pretty rough, making it a dedicated truck gun/foul weather gun. The 308 was sold awhile ago....the 222 would've been fun to kick around though.

To add to the post, no new guns as of yet, but am trying to find a 35 Whelen Encore barrel and a 7mm08 Encore barrel.....got a scope in the safe itching for a 7mm08 barrel, and need to find one for the Whelen barrel

I passed all legal matters so now I can buy a fully automatic. I just picked up a fully automatic SAW from a buddy of mine which wasn't cheap at all.

Cost of ammo?

Don't even ask.

Talk about suppresive fire power. WOW! ;

Okay. Not so much. But I had you going.
