I do a rifle hunt every December at the Baker 3, I have always had a good time. Lots of game,good food, & great guides.

Let me specify my question a little, should have the first time. Are there good numbers of big axis that are hard horned in November.

MOST axis are hard horned in the summer months. Any time of year you'll find axis in all stages of horn growth, but the summer seems to be the best for hard horn.

That seems to be the consensus on every other place I have been. Frien of mine killed one this summer, 29" or 30", first time he had been, just wandering about size of their herd and quality of their bucks.
