Table looks good Dale. Tell those boys the sun is shining, the wind is blowing, and your friends from the interweb want to see them finish this darn thing up.

That man in the third picture is going to get tired holding that thing up after a few years.

            Looks darn good.

I believe he could hold it at least that long. That is Simitrio, he is the Jefe, he knows his biz.....and he don't play!

He and I shared a few cross words early on, but we hashed it out over a few Modelos back before the monsoon and we get along famously now.....with a translator.

Sorry man, I thought I replyed to this the other night. I already had the can housings, but I didn't have trim rings. So I started out looking at these new (or new to me) led trim conversions.

Halo has nice ones too, but the Commercial Electric had the bronze trim ring options so I bought them and an led approved dimmer switch that fit the existing location and cover plate. I REALLY like the way they work, and unlike just screwing an led bulb in an existing can, they are completely closed off to the outside so there is no gap for mud dobbers and wasps to get into.

Thanks er'body for the kind words. The thing is dragging out, just like every project I undertake, but I think it's payed off in getting things right so far....even if the budget is SHOT!

Grill will be at my shop tomorrow, but I need to travel so I may not get my hands on it until Thursday.

Got 3 coats of Poly on the table top, and it has some imperfections but it looks good for my first attempt at staining anything.

Seems to look the same in every photo and none do it justice so I won't bore y'all with it anymore, but it looks really good in person.
