Has anyone had any luck bow hunting this area?

Year ago, I hunted the Canadian River bridge on the road to Dumas where I grew up. Loads of turkey. And tracked a doe in the river that I got so close to that she jumped and scared me so bad I dropped my bow. I guess there are so many river rats riding motorcycles there now that hunting is probably out of the question.

you are right about the river rats . but close to the flint quarry there are no 4 wheelers are allowed. i dove hunt there a lot. and seen lots of sign. i have bow hunted in the past with not much luck. came close a few times but never got a shot.i was just wondering if there were any fellow bow hunters in the area.Comment

There are in Dumas. I know of one named Enrique there but I will have to get his last name tomorrow. He kills loads of game around there.Comment
