Yes sir, the Aransas NWR hunters were vocal and I believe this prevented the change there this year.

Yep, been hunting Aransas for decays. I was one that spoke out. Glad I did cause I already have my Aransas permits in hand. (online today) Two biggest deer I ever killed were here.

I also hunted Balcones Canyon Land many time but permitting is now with TP&W so good luck with getting on again in this lifetime.

Laguna Atascosa is a must apply to experience the true meaning on misquote swarms like bees, be sure to bring off with deet if you are drawn, I was covered in bites from head to toe, was awful. Lots of land, lots of pigs, lots of animals.
