My 20yo son crosses all the time with just a DL.. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

Why?? I just don't get it.

Why have yourself worried while trying to enjoy yourself?

I just do not get it.

I am Mexican American and I will not even go there.

Shaking my head.

I appreciate that but do you have a nervous insticnt the whole time you are there??

Looking behind your back/checking your corners/getting questioned by Mexican authorities?

Be honest. Not for me. Your response is "I think we have a good idea". Shaking my head. Is it worth your life? Not to me

I wonít let fear keep me from doing what I love a life of fear is no life at all! Itís more than just killing a deer and it either gets in your blood or not. Trying to explain that to someone that isnít like minded is pointless. Now spiders and planes those are something to shake your head about!

Lol no. I donít feel like that at all. When I cross the border I get a great sense of calm and relaxation. When Iím on the north side of the river my phone is non stop, work with non stop, my kids activities are non stop.

Itís my time to crack a cold one, relax and have a good time.

Lol Iím going to pass on saying anything negative! I love Mexico. Have I seen anything bad happen or have I been questioned by Mexican authorities? Absolutely, part of it but Iíve also seen some shady stuff in downtown Houston and Dallas that had me way more looking over my shoulder or around the corner! I donít fear for my life ever!!! Thanks for the concern, but my experiences canít be downtrodden by someone that has no experiences of his own!

My $0.02.

Be safe you all but IMO some of you are lying you don't get nervous crossing the border and might think some **** can happen.

Just being honest on what I have seen. Yes big cities all over the USA have crap areas.

But MEXICO is different. No rules.

Be careful all of you.

I used to have this debate with MANY of friends, family, co-workers, customers, etc. about hunting Mexico. I would always argue the same things with them over, and over...Why argue it? Over the years, Iíve now learned to tell them all the horror stories they ďwantĒ to hear, so itíll keep them out of Mexico. More places to hunt for us!

Everything looked green! We donít depend on water out of the tanks regardless but I hope to get them full to shoot a few duck limits when the pup gets restless in the deer blinds.

I'm seriously looking into finding a place in Mexico for next year. Who can lead me in the right direction on finding a place and educate me on all the do's and don't? Would be great to find someone else from the DFW area to travel with also.

Humberto Gomez is the best outfitter to reach out to in trying to find a ranch, and can walk you through any questions you may have as well.

I prefer a spot on a lease since Iíll be new to Mexico hunting but thatís not a deal breaker if the right place comes along.
