Rifle stock replacement Question

I’m not asking how “hard” it is as much as “Whos put a newer synthetic stock on an older Woodstock gun? Is it worth the hassle?

Whether or not it is worth it depends on your reasons for wanting to do it. It is really not much hassle at all.

Depends on whether you will use the gun and want to preserve the wood or not.

The process is easy on most guns. The gamble is whether accuracy will remain, diminish or improve.

Unless you have something unusual it’s plug and play. I put all of my Rem 700’s in synthetic stocks and put the wood stock away rather than beating it up in the field.
